Quotes

  • “I think the data for using technology in real-time is still in its infancy. There’s not a ton that is being done. There are some applications where people are using some geolocation data.” -David“There are a few limited ways that are being used in real-time today but I think that you will see that grow significantly over the years.” -David“I think that what we are going to see over time is a real-time technology that can tell when you are nearby because that is not enough to make you a customer, but if there are other data signals that they can look at to determine if you are in the market for a specific product, then now all of a sudden it becomes interesting.” -David“The idea is that, if they could cross-reference your location with a whole bunch of other data signals that show what you were searching for online and tie that into your location it becomes interesting.” -David“One of the biggest things that we are trying to proliferate is the idea that by taking away the concept of siloed data and integrating it together to a single exchange, it gives you the power to then be able to take data from so many different places, merge it all together and use it effectively.” -David“I like the idea of cross-device being in real-time.” -Ben“I think that if the TV industry does not some significant changes in the next five years, they are going to be in trouble. We are already seeing a lot of disruption online and on mobile. Google’s announcement of getting rid of third-party cookies is an interesting change and this change is going to create more of a reliance on first-party data and that is where first-party data becomes more valuable.” -David“What I think that the publishers stand to gain from the removal of third-party cookies is that all of a sudden, all of their audience becomes much more valuable, their data about their audience becomes more valuable if they can figure out how to harness that.” -David
